You have the option to suggest your notary. If they are not part of the COOP, we will provide them with all the necessary information to join.
The solution is aimed at single-family homes, condominiums, vacant land, and multi-unit buildings with six (6) units or less. OPCO Notaires Inc. can also handle transfers between borrowers, as well as mortgage assumptions.

Processing times depend on the file and the time of year. A regular refinancing takes an average of two weeks to be completed from A to Z. However, during the peak season (from April to mid-July), you should expect a processing time of 15 to 30 days.
No worries, this is a common situation, especially during peak season. Most banks keep loans in an open term once the maturity date has passed to give us enough time to proceed with the repayment. You will incur daily interest, but no penalty. The information regarding the maturity of your current loan is well noted in your file, and our team is committed to processing your request as quickly as possible to avoid unnecessary fees. If any information is missing, a member of our team will contact you.
When the disbursement request is made, OPCO Notaires Inc. will send an invoice to your financial institution, which is required to pay the invoice on your behalf. The amount will be directly debited from your account. OPCO will then send you a copy of the invoice as well as an electronic copy of your original documents.
OPCO Notaires Inc. will manage the discharge by requesting an account statement from the previous creditor. We commit to processing the repayment with the other creditor and issuing the discharge.
